This theological booklet, published by Crocker and Brewster in 1826 Boston was passed down through a family, heavily used and carefully preserved. At some point at the turn of the century, it was sewn into a pocket notebook to keep it intact and useable. There is corner folding, some cover loss and age staining as pictured. The owners signed and dated the inside front cover as they passed it down. The book details the lessons of the Bible with amazing illustrated plates at the top of almost every page. Excellent opportunity to own a usable 200 year old text.
