Offering a striking artist-signed tole painted tin chest with lid. The signature of Roy Scott appears on the tin face right side.
This came from an estate local to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The tin is square with a hinged lid rounded edges.
It’s been preloved (but not too much!) and shows expected signs of use, as pictured. Paint is in overall very good condition.
These were commonly used as storage for buttons, sewing notions, jewelry, trinkets or for kitchen use as spice storage.
