Offering a Victorian-era large double well inkwell (similar to the type that sits on the speaker’s desk in Congress), silver plated, ornate. This accommodated quite a bit of ink and allowed for two colors so this was probably used by a judge or similar profession. Both lids are present but the hinges have separated. This makes for a fine display piece but should you want to use it for its purpose, it will require rehinging. Personally, I think they make great vanity or dresser top pieces to corral little bits of the day like earrings and the like.
